In a Real Emergency

If you become aware of the presence of gas coming from the outside of your house, immediately react as follows:

Isolate outside ignition sources
Go in and stay indoors.
Pedestrians, shoppers and visitors out in the open, must go into the nearest shop or public building.
Close all windows and doors.
Isolate air intake ventilation systems.
Tune your radio to 97.6 Mhz (Secunda FM) for more information.
Use telephones only for emergency situations to prevent system overload.
As soon as the all-clear message is given, open windows in affected areas to ventilate buildings.
People in vehicles must also tune into 97.6 Mhz for more information, stop, and go into the nearest shop or public building.
Do not drive to affected areas!
